IDEAS Now Indexes 3 Million Economic Research Items
IDEAS, based on RePEc (Research Papers in Economics), is the largest bibliographic database dedicated to economics and available freely on the Internet. IDEAS now indexes over 3,000,000 items of research, including over 2,700,000 that can be downloaded in full text.
IDEAS, which is run by Research economist Christian Zimmermann and a dedicated team of volunteers, has been hosted by the Research Division since 2011. Additional services that IDEAS adds to the core RePEc interface include myIDEAS accounts, which allow you to save citations and keep up with new research; the popular rankings of researchers and departments; and of course the Fantasy League, where you can build your own dream econ department.
