Charles Gascon is a regional economist and senior coordinator in the Research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He joined the bank in 2006. As a regional economist, he analyzes economic conditions in the Eighth Federal Reserve District and reports on conditions to the Bank president and staff economists prior to Federal Open Market Committee meetings. He also contributes to the bank’s Beige Book and Burgundy Book reports on economic conditions in the District. He also supervises the Research department’s staff of research analysts.
