The Research Divisions of the Federal Reserve Banks of Kansas City and St. Louis along with the Department of Economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia are pleased to announce the third Missouri Economics Conference, which will take place at the University of Missouri on Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, 2003.

Preference will be given to submitted papers which are finished, but abstracts will be considered.

Nonpresenters are invited to participate, and everyone must register.

The registration deadline is March 28, 2003. There are no registration
fees.
Sessions:
Concurrent sessions, lasting either two hours or one hour and 45 minutes,
will consist of three papers. Participants will have 30 minutes to present
a paper. All sessions will take place at the Memorial Union on campus
(Hitt Street between University Avenue and Rollins Street).

Travel Information:
Driving to the Conference: A map to the University of Missouri,

Flying to the Conference:
The local airport is Columbia Regional Airport. It is generally cheaper
to fly to Kansas City (126 miles to the west) or St. Louis (125 miles
to the east) and either rent a car or take a shuttle bus. Two shuttle
bus companies (the Airport Connection and Tiger Air Express) offer service
from the Kansas City and St. Louis airports to Columbia. The roundtrip
price for either of these companies is $75.00. Details for the Airport

Conference Schedule and Web Site:
The conference will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday and adjourn at approximately
1:30 p.m. Saturday. All activities will take place at the Memorial Union.
Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided on Friday and Saturday.
A reception and dinner will be held on Friday evening.
