The WTO and Market-Supportive Regulation: A Way Forward on New Competition Technological and Labor Issues
This article argues that some “new issues” in the global trade
negotiations belong there quite naturally. The author labels these conformable issues
“market-supportive regulation” and notes that wise incorporation of these
regulations into the World Trade Organization is the key to generating a new
wave of “gains from trade” within and among societies.
