The Origin and Impact of Inflation
It is a pleasure to be here in Toronto and to share with you my views on inflation. This is a subject whose popularity has fluctuated with cyclical fluctuations in business activity; it is debated during upswings only to recede into oblivion during downswings. Yet, in my opinion, it is a subject which should be analyzed at all times since it is during downswings that the seeds of inflation are sown.
