The 1924-1929 Data Are Also Presented As Based On The Original December Date. The 1928-1934 Data Are Presented As Originally Given, In Millions Of Members. However, The NBER Has Also Converted That Original Data To An Index Based On 1928=100. Data Are Based On End Of Month Figures And Are For Industrial Workers.
