Series Is Presented Here As Two Variables--(1)--Original Data, 1941-1947 (2)--Original Data, 1947-1966. In 1957 Employment Was Redefined To Exclude Persons On Temporary Layoff And Persons To Report To Work In 30 Days. This Revision Was Extended Back To 1947 For This Variable. The Revision Reduced Employment By Somewhat Over 0.4%.
