This is the list of Pacific rim countries as defined by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of the U.S. Department of Labor. It includes China, Japan, Australia, Brunei, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, and the Asian Newly Industrialized Countries. The Asian Newly Industrialized Countries is defined by the BLS as Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, and Taiwan.
