A) GP is a variation of genetic algorithms
1) GA are due to Holland (1975)
2) Genetic algorithms are computer search procedures based on the principles of natural selection as originally expounded in Darwin's theory of evolution.
B) GP is a similar search algorithm for spaces that consist of decision trees.
1) GP was developed by Koza (1992).
