14th Annual Missouri Economics Conference
March 21-22, 2014
The Research Divisions of the Federal Reserve Banks of Kansas City and St. Louis and the Department of Economics at the University of Missouri—Columbia are pleased to announce that the fourteenth annual Missouri Economics Conference will take place at the University of Missouri on Friday and Saturday, March 21-22, 2014, at Reynolds Alumni Center, University of Missouri—Columbia.
We will have two excellent plenary speakers for the 2014 conference. Already confirmed is Professor Charles Engel and Professor Steven Durlauf, both from the Department of Economics, University of WisconsinMadison.
The deadline to submit papers for the 2014 Missouri Economics Conference is February 15, 2014. To be considered for presentation at the conference, research papers or abstracts should be sent via email to: Sandra.Y.Butler@stls.frb.org.
Concurrent sessions will consist of four papers. Participants will have 30 minutes to present a paper. All sessions will take place at the Reynolds Alumni Center on campus.

You must reference this code to get the rate of $124.00 night + tax for king rooms; $145.00 night + tax for junior suites (larger room with sleeper sofa included). Reservations must be made by March 7, 2014, in order to receive the special rate. After that date, reservations will be provided on a space-available basis only.

Flying to the Conference:
The local airport is Columbia Regional Airport. It is generally cheaper to fly to Kansas City (150 miles to the west) or St. Louis (120 miles to the east) and either rent a car or take a shuttle bus.
